Obituary: WEST MELBOURNE -- Alma R. Denke, 70, a retired unit clerk for Holmes Regional Medical Center, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, at home. Mrs. Denke came to Brevard County in 1976 from Pittsburgh, where she was born. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. Survivors include her daughters, Linda Bruner of West Melbourne, Donna Phelps of Champion, Pa., and Susan Martin of Star Junction, Pa.; sons, John Ginther of Carnegie, Pa., Alvin Denke of Eighty Four, Pa., and Richard Denke of Cecil, Pa.; mother, Alma Ginter of Carnegie; sisters, Estelle Shipley of New Concord, Ohio, Flo Conroy of Bethel Park, Pa., Mary Emodi of Omaha, Neb., and Janice Ruehling of Pittsburgh; brothers, Richard Ginther of West Finley, Pa., and John Ginther of Ohio; and 10 grandchildren. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 tonight, with a wake service at 7 p.m., at Brownlie and Maxwell Funeral Home in Melbourne. Burial will be in Pennsylvania.
